Cleared Facility Construction:
Direct experience managing or overseeing SCIF or other cleared-facility construction, buildout, modification, compliance, and certification . This is particularly important because the company is currently performing construction updates to its secure facility. DoD /
Intelligence Community Security:
Strong physical, personnel, and special security background supporting DoD, military cyber, Intelligence Community, compartmented programs, and SCIF environments . Experience managing classified programs and secure facilities is highly valued. Education /
Experience Requirements:
BA or BS Degree + 6 years of relevant industrial security experience; OR Equivalent combination of education and experience. 6+ years of physical, personnel, and special security experience supporting DoD or equivalent Government agencies. 4+ years supporting compartmented programs. 4+ years working in a DoD SCIF. 2+ years of security training and inspection experience.

Agensys is seeking an experienced Facility Security Officer (FSO) for a direct-hire opportunity in Virginia Beach, VA. This is a senior, hands-on security leadership position responsible for corporate security programs and the company's onsite cleared facilities. The FSO will serve as the legally accountable authority for security activities and corporate security programs in accordance with NISPOM and other Federal security regulations. This person will interface directly with U.S. Government security counterparts, oversee classified controlled areas, manage security compliance, and provide direction to Deputy/Assistant FSOs supporting other locations.

This position is particularly important as the organization is currently performing construction updates to its secure facility in Virginia Beach . The successful candidate should bring direct experience overseeing cleared-facility/SCIF construction and ensuring the resulting environment meets applicable security and certification requirements.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the responsible FSO for corporate security operations and cleared facilities. Maintain compliance with NISPOM and applicable DoD/Federal security requirements. Manage personnel clearance processing, tracking, education, reporting, indoctrination, briefings, and debriefings. Maintain facility eligibility, certifications, and accreditations. Conduct security inspections and audits and ensure documentation remains audit-ready. Manage end-to-end clearance processes using DISS/NBIS, NISS, and related security systems . Process and support SF-86s, continuous vetting, and adverse information reporting. Prepare, issue, and maintain DD254s for prime contracts and subcontracts. Develop and administer security education and training programs. Oversee physical security for cleared spaces, including access control, biometric verification, and surveillance. Oversee classified material receipt, logging, storage, control, dissemination, and destruction. Manage visit requests and security access requirements. Track and validate personnel clearances, eligibility, and access authorizations. Coordinate with the Senior Management Official (SMO) regarding personnel security and access. Maintain working relationships with Government security agencies. Manage and delegate responsibilities to Deputy/Assistant FSOs as appropriate.

Required Qualifications:
Active Top Secret clearance. Prior experience serving as the actual Facility Security Officer (FSO) / named responsible party for a cleared organization.
