Position Overview Fiore Industries is currently seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to support access control operations at a secure project site in Anchorage, Alaska. This position is primarily responsible for controlling access to the assigned location, verifying authorized personnel, preventing unauthorized entry, and maintaining a professional security presence. The assignment is primarily outdoors and may require extended periods of standing in varying weather conditions. Key Responsibilities Conduct access control operations at the assigned location Verify authorization and credentials of personnel entering the site Prevent unauthorized access and promptly report access concerns Maintain awareness of activity at the assigned access-control point Follow Fiore Industries procedures and site-specific post orders Maintain required security logs and documentation Promptly report incidents, suspicious activity, or unusual conditions Interact professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and site personnel Maintain a professional appearance and security presence throughout the assigned shift Remain at the assigned post for the duration of scheduled hours unless properly relieved Schedule Approximately8-20 hours per week Primarily day-shift coverage Occasional day or night flex coverage may be required based on operational needs Schedule may vary based on site requirements Minimum Qualifications Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite Must possess a REAL ID-compliant form of identification or other federally accepted identification required for site access. Must be able to successfully complete required background screening and meet applicable site-access requirements Must possess or be able to obtain required Alaska Unarmed Security Guard licensure Ability to communicate professionally and follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and situational awareness Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to perform duties outdoors in varying and potentially inclement weather conditions Dependable attendance and punctuality Preferred Qualifications Current Alaska Security Guard License - Unarmed High school diploma or GED Prior security or access-control experience Current CPR/First Aid certification Prior security experience is preferred but not required.
