Part-Time Armed Security Guard

Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and professional Part-Time Armed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role involves monitoring a retail store property, enforcing security protocols, and responding promptly to incidents. The ideal candidate will possess strong observation skills, excellent conflict management abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment through vigilant surveillance and proactive security measures. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access. Respond swiftly and appropriately to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if certified. Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of daily activities. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing preventative measures. Control access points by verifying credentials and managing visitor check-ins. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times. Qualifications Prior experience in security service, or related fields is preferred. Must be able to work between the hours of 4PM - 9PM ( Monday - Saturday) Must be able to work All 6 days will be a bonus Must have an open availability for employment consideration Certifications in first aid, CPR, or conflict management are advantageous. Must have reliable transportation for consideration Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively. Good physical condition with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform patrol duties. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional security training or licenses are a plus.

Pay:

$12.50 - $13.25 per hour
