Job Summary DSI is growing—again! We are currently hiring for an Armed Security Sergeant position supporting a high-profile client facility. This leadership role requires a dependable, professional individual with strong communication skills, supervisory experience, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. As an Armed Security Sergeant, you will assist with overseeing daily security operations, supporting officers on shift, maintaining site security procedures, and ensuring high-quality service standards are consistently met. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist with supervising and supporting Security Officers on assigned shifts Provide guidance, coaching, and training support to security personnel Conduct facility and parking lot patrols Respond to and manage emergency incidents including fire, medical, hazardous materials, and security-related events Assist with emergency response and disaster operations in accordance with site policies and procedures Cover open posts and assist with last-minute scheduling adjustments as needed Maintain communication with Security leadership regarding operational concerns and incidents Complete and maintain reports, logs, evaluations, and other required documentation accurately and timely Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of assigned security areas Assist with incoming and outgoing mail processing and related duties Unlock and secure doors and gates as requested Ensure officers are properly trained and utilizing specialized equipment safely Provide emergency first aid and CPR assistance when necessary Maintain professionalism and high-quality service standards at all times Qualifications Must possess an active Firearms License issued by the State Must successfully complete annual firearms qualifications and required training Prior security, military, law enforcement, or supervisory experience preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in emergency situations Computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Office and Windows applications Must have reliable transportation and dependable attendance CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain Available Shifts Monday
