Provide overnight security by conducting and documenting regular patrols. Maintain safe and secure facilities and grounds for the protection of guests and employees according to the company policies and procedures in adherence to state and federal regulations.
Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Rountinely conduct complete and thorough patrols, on foot and by vehicle throughout grounds, reporting unsafe conditions and security issues. Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities. Conduct investigations concerning equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Monitor noise levels in guest areas and respond as needed. Maintain awareness of safety concerns, and report them immediately to the manager Monitor and ensure guests adhere to policies and safety standards. Performs other related duties as directed or required.
SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
High School Diploma/G.E.D. required. Previous security or related experience strongly preferred. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to respond to and resolve noise and other disturbances in a professional and appropriate manner. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and communicate it to management. Valid driver's license.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment. Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 25 lbs. regularly, 30-35 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Ability to stand for the entire work day. Climbing steps regularly. Withstanding temperature extremes and inclement outdoor weather. Reading and writing work-related documents in English. Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of customers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by customers and co-workers in English. Ability to visually inspect traffic/vehicles. Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties.
