Job Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age or older. Armed security officer (must pass Armed training, have valid pistol permit). Valid driver's license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards 3+ Years of Military, Law Enforcement, or Armed Security Experience; or 4+ Years of Unarmed Security Experience Pass a background investigation Complete a psychological assessment Pass an annual physical fitness assessment Pass medical exam to test vision & hearing (ability to distinguish color is required).Duties & Responsibilities:
Security Operations Perform regular patrols to enhance safety and identify security concerns. Monitor access points, verify IDs and credentials. Enforce procedures per Security Post Instructions. Incident Response & Reporting Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol. Maintain accurate logs of activities and observations.Execute routine tasks:
locking/unlocking doors, managing security systems, and monitoring surveillance. Customer Service & Professionalism Assist visitors and employees, addressing concerns professionally. Enforce SEI and Client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking). Maintain a clean, pressed uniform and professional appearance.Required Skills & Abilities:
Minimum Required:
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments. Availability to work weekends. Strong situational awareness and curiosity. Ability to stay calm and problem-solve in critical situations. Basic computer skills; able to use a tablet for reporting.Preferred:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Minimum Physical Requirements With or Without reasonable accommodation (subject to change based on client-specific needs)- Stand for at least 1 hour without support or break
