What You'll Do As an Armed Security Officer, your responsibilities may include: Providing a professional and visible security presence Conducting scheduled patrols of buildings, parking lots, and surrounding property Monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas Observing site activity and reporting suspicious or unusual behavior Responding appropriately to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances Preparing accurate daily activity logs and incident reports Communicating effectively with supervisors, clients, and emergency personnel Assisting visitors, employees, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner Following all company policies and client-specific procedures Qualifications To be considered, applicants should have: A valid Alabama Armed Security License Strong observation and decision-making skills Professional communication and customer service abilities Dependable transportation and reliable attendance The ability to remain calm and professional in changing situations Preferred Qualifications The following are helpful but not required: Previous armed security or protective services experience Military or law enforcement background CPR and/or First Aid certification Experience with surveillance, access control, or security monitoring systems Physical Requirements Officers should be comfortable standing, walking, and conducting patrols throughout their shift.
