We are looking for an individual who is professional, friendly, vigilant and cares about the safety of our residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SECURITY GUARD

Under the direction of the Director of Security, a Security Guard performs a variety of tasks to keep our campus secure. Some of the general responsibilities of a Security Guard include, but are not limited to: Upholds a high level of customer service when dealing with residents, staff, families, and guests — addressing questions and concerns with respect and thoughtfulness Walk and drive the campus periodically during shift - making sure buildings are secure and there is no unusual activity on the campus. Assist with setting up scheduled activities and other duties as assigned Follows all safety rules and regulations and assist in emergency situations Follows instructions, works well with others, and maintains a good rapport with residents Refers all problems to director or member of the management staff Presents a clean and professional appearance Cooperates with staff of other departments in performing job duties

SHIFTS OF A SECURITY GUARD

Our Security Guard shift is an 8-hour shift. Friday and Saturday - midnight - 8:00am

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Experience in hospitality, or senior living environment preferred. Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, walk/stand 90% or more of shifts, and respond to all resident and emergency needs quickly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
