Job Summary Join our dynamic security team as an Unarmed Security Guard, where your vigilance and dedication will ensure the safety and security of our facilities, staff, and visitors. In this energetic role, you will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies. Your proactive approach will help maintain a secure environment while providing excellent service to all who enter our site. Duties Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the property Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring proper authorization before granting access Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for reporting purposes Enforce facility policies related to loss prevention and conflict management with professionalism and calmness Assist with basic first aid or CPR in emergency situations until professional help arrives Qualifications Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention techniques Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain if not already certified Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during shifts Familiarity with security protocols and law enforcement procedures relevant to unarmed security roles Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders This role offers a fulfilling opportunity for motivated individuals eager to uphold safety standards while engaging with a vibrant team.
