  • Sunday | 7:00 PM

  • Downtown Phoenix) Monday

  • Open to picking up shifts across Morning, Swing, or Graveyard Position Overview Superior Protection Services is seeking a professional and dependable Armed Security Officer to provide security services across multiple sites in the Phoenix area.
Depending on the schedule selected, duties may include: Conducting hourly vehicle patrols of a commercial plaza using a company vehicle Standing guard and performing access control at a Veterans Home Working as an Armed Flex Officer, available to pick up shifts across a variety of security posts (morning, swing, or graveyard) The ideal candidate is professional, observant, calm under pressure, and skilled in verbal de-escalation and customer service. Officers must maintain a strong security presence, exercise sound judgment, and consistently demonstrate professionalism. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Maintain a professional security presence at assigned posts Conduct vehicle patrols of designated areas using a company vehicle Perform standing guard and access control duties Monitor and control access to facilities Verify authorized visitors and enforce site access procedures Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or policy violations Utilize verbal de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts professionally Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident reports using TrackTik Follow all company policies, post orders, and client procedures Immediately notify supervisors of incidents requiring escalation What We Offer Site-specific training provided Paid training Stable full-time employment Growth and advancement opportunities Supportive leadership team Minimum Qualifications Active Arizona Armed Guard Card (Required) Tier III Firearms Certification (Required) Minimum 1 year of armed or unarmed security experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Experience with verbal de-escalation techniques Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to write accurate and detailed reports Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Comfortable carrying a firearm while on duty Must wear a complete security uniform and badge at all times Personal cell phone use while on duty is prohibited except during approved breaks Why Join Superior Protection Services?
