Position SummaryVet-Sec Protection Agency is seeking dependable, vigilant, and professional Security Officers to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting people, property, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment. Successful candidates are observant, dependable, and capable of responding calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Responsibilities Patrol assigned properties and designated areas to deter criminal activity and security threats. Monitor surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment. Control access to facilities by verifying identification and authorizing entry. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and requests for assistance. Prepare accurate daily activity logs and detailed incident reports. Enforce company policies and client-specific procedures. Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional presence. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential safety or security hazards. Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and management when necessary. De-escalate conflicts and maintain order using sound judgment and professionalism.

QualificationsRequired:
Current state security guard license (where applicable). High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license (if required for the assigned post). Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Preferred:
Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement. CPR, First Aid, or other security-related certifications. Skills Excellent observation and situational awareness. Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills. Sound decision-making under pressure. Conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
