PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support orderly movement of people throughout the location in accordance with post instructions. Assist with de-escalation, follow emergency protocols, and communicate with first responders and/or designated personnel during medical, fire, or other urgent events.

Minimum Requirements:

CPR and First Aid experience is preferred. A current CPR certification is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
