(Day 6am-2pm, Swings 2pm-10pm, Graveyards 10pm-6am) in OAKLAND and ALAMEDA Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas using surveillance equipment and physical inspections to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor CCTV systems continuously to identify suspicious behavior or security breaches. Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents, including alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, following established protocols. Manage access control by verifying identities and authorizations of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations while maintaining safety and professionalism. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism and documenting incidents thoroughly. Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and visitors. Support multiple sites based on operational needs. Uphold all company policies and procedures with professionalism. Qualifications Active California Guard Card (REQUIRED). Active California Exposed Firearms Permit (REQUIRED). Must provide your own Level 2 or higher ballistic vest and professional duty holster; these items are not supplied by the company. (REQUIRED) Reliable transportation and ability to respond to on-call assignments. Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles with a strong understanding of conflict resolution. Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining high levels of professionalism and attention to detail.
