Job Description

You'll spend the day patrolling parking lots and controlling metal detectors, checking everything from guests' bags to employee badges. You'll protect our people and our property -- all while securing valuable law experience and rewarding benefits. Responsibilities Coordinating and conducting in-the-field training for assigned officer during park hours. Completing daily field evaluations (DFE). Monitoring the performance of Probationary Security Officers (PSO) handling incidents. Instructing and demonstrating daily assigned tasks to PSOs. Secure Gate, checking, logging, and clearing authorized personnel and vehicles presenting proper identification or passes attempting to gain access to the park. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of information disclosed, accidentally discovered or communicated as an officer with or without specific instructions to do so of guests, vendors, lessees, and all other customers. Respond to security-based incidents on park property. Write clear and concise reports. Enforce local, state, and federal laws occurring on the property. Safeguard company assets, property, equipment, and facilities against illegal and destructive acts. Set high stands of performance for all areas within their responsibilities. Respond to any emergency situation in the area and maintain control until an area supervisor arrives. Ensure that image, cleanliness, and courtesy standard requirements are met. Complete any and all tasks as requested by Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Management. Qualifications Must possess valid BSIS Guard card. Must possess valid Driver's License. Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Must be available for work Friday-Monday and holidays.
