Duties Conduct regular patrols of premises using CCTV systems, access control systems, and physical security measures to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor surveillance equipment and perform detailed incident report writing to document any suspicious activity or security breaches. Respond promptly to alarms or emergencies by following established emergency response procedures, including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols. Manage access control by performing background checks on visitors, contractors, and employees to ensure authorized entry. Handle conflict de-escalation and conflict management techniques to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining safety. Operate firearms and Tasers responsibly in accordance with legal regulations and company policies; ensure proper storage and handling at all times. Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents by providing accurate information and support as needed. Perform heavy lifting or manual handling tasks when required for security setups or emergency situations. Qualifications Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on physical security and surveillance. Valid firearm handling certification along with training in Taser use, first aid, CPR, AED operation, and emergency response procedures. Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, incident report writing, and loss prevention strategies. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Physical fitness to perform patrolling duties including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects when necessary. Ability to perform background checks accurately while maintaining confidentiality. Familiarity with compliance standards related to security regulations and law enforcement protocols.
