AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as directed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, documenting observations and incidents through required reporting procedures. Maintain a professional presence while assisting with directions, escorts, and other security-related support needs across the location.Minimum Requirements:
Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Must meet hospital vaccination requirements. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
