PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, businesses, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned downtown public areas, business corridors, sidewalks, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed. Observe and report suspicious activity, property concerns, hazards, and policy violations; prepare clear and timely incident and daily activity reports. Maintain a professional presence, provide directions and assistance, and communicate respectfully with clients, tenants, visitors, local businesses, and law enforcement personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Be able to ride a bike. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card/license is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
