- 6pm DMV Security Officer Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual with strong observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. Duties Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems to prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities. Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and security equipment to ensure safety protocols are being followed. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed and report any suspicious activities or breaches of security. Utilize CCTV systems for surveillance and documentation of incidents. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize risks and protect company assets. Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques and conflict management skills. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Requirements Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems is essential. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
