Now Hiring:
Night Security / Camp Host Opportunity Coloma Resort | Coloma, California Do you enjoy working independently, helping people, and being outdoors? Coloma Resort is seeking a dependable Night Security Team Member to help provide a safe, peaceful, and enjoyable experience for our guests. For the right candidate, there is also an opportunity to serve as a Camp Host and live onsite in your own RV or travel trailer. Schedule Variable schedule based on resort occupancy Typical shift: 8:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. Weekend availability is required, especially Fridays and Saturdays Additional shifts may be available during peak seasons, holidays, and special events Primary Responsibilities Patrol the resort and campground to maintain a safe and secure environment. Respond to guest lockouts. Respond to fire alarms, smoke alarms, and emergency situations. Investigate and respond to guest complaints, including noise disturbances and after-hours concerns. Enforce quiet hours and resort policies in a professional, respectful manner. Address disruptive or rowdy guest behavior when necessary. Answer calls and text messages received on the resort security phone. Document incidents and communicate guest concerns, maintenance issues, and security reports to the Reservations and Management teams for follow-up. Assist guests with general questions and provide excellent customer service. Additional Duties (Based on Experience & Skills) Depending on your experience and the resort's operational needs, additional responsibilities may include: Pool cleaning and water testing Light janitorial duties Trash and dump runs Minor maintenance and property checks Assisting other departments as needed Qualifications Dependable, trustworthy, and self-motivated Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable working independently during evening and overnight hours Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies Able to walk the property and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Previous experience in security, hospitality, campground operations, customer service, maintenance, military, or law enforcement is a plus but not required Camp Host Opportunity For the right individual or couple, there may be an opportunity to serve as a Camp Host and live onsite in your own RV or travel trailer. Camp Hosts may receive additional hours and responsibilities depending on experience, availability, and the needs of the resort.
