Available Opportunities Unarmed Security Officers Help maintain safe and secure environments through access control, patrols, incident response, monitoring, reporting, and professional customer service. Armed Security Officers Provide an enhanced security presence while performing assigned access control, patrol, monitoring, incident response, and protective duties. Armed positions require the appropriate California firearm credentials and permits for the assignment. Specific schedules and responsibilities may vary depending on the position and assignment. What You'll Do Monitor assigned areas and report security or safety concerns Help ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and property Control access to facilities and assist visitors as needed Monitor entrances, exits, and vehicle activity Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols Identify unsafe conditions, suspicious activity, or security violations Complete accurate security reports, incident reports, and activity logs Respond appropriately to alarms, incidents, and emergencies Follow established security procedures and post orders Assist with emergency response when required Maintain a professional and customer-focused security presence Work independently and collaboratively with other security personnel Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Valid California BSIS Guard Card Ability to successfully complete required background screening and drug screening Ability to communicate effectively in English Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to remain professional and composed during emergency situations Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to perform the physical duties associated with the assigned position
