Full Job Description Shifts Needed:

11AM-7PM Sundays 11AM-9PM Monday-Thursday Off Fridays & Saturdays Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations. The Armed Guard will utilize surveillance techniques, conflict management skills, and law enforcement knowledge to ensure the safety of individuals and assets. Duties Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations to determine appropriate action. Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary. Enforce regulations and policies to maintain order and safety within assigned areas. Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks. Provide assistance in loss prevention measures by identifying suspicious activities or behaviors. Administer CPR and first aid as needed during emergencies, ensuring the well-being of individuals involved. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes. Requirements Valid armed security guard license or certification as required by state regulations. Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not mandatory. Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies. Proficiency in conflict management with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments. Must be physically fit to perform duties that may require standing for extended periods or responding quickly in emergencies.
