Lead Security Officer Sky River Casino - 3.0 Elk Grove, CA Job Details 12 hours ago Qualifications Batons Alarm systems De-escalation techniques Driver's License Security systems knowledge Productivity software Tribal law & regulations Full Job Description A Lead Officer of Security is responsible for training the new officers with the daily responsibilities of the Security Department, and assisting on-duty shift management as needed. Trains, and evaluates security staff to ensure employees receive necessary guidance to accomplish established objectives in accordance with departmental standards. Conducts training classes on various topics such as CPR, Fire Fighting & Response, First-Aid, and general security procedures to ensure the security and protection of assets, patrons/guests, and team members. Reports training progress to the Training Coordinator/Supervisor Provides remedial training to officers as needed Assists the department ensuring that proper arrest procedures and detainment techniques are carried out involving violations of civil or company laws or procedures; assists various local, state, and federal authorities in various activities and investigations to ensure that procedures and laws are observed. Provides support to the department in the event of troublesome terminations, thefts, investigations, and procedures as requested. Ensures all proper procedures for Games Department are correctly implemented and maintained (i.e., fills, credits, transfers, pit boxes, drops, etc.) Writes security incidents reports in the iTrak system as necessary. Perform physical escorts, arrests of non-compliant guests. Performs other duties as assigned.
