Trains, and evaluates security staff to ensure employees receive necessary guidance to accomplish established objectives in accordance with departmental standards. Conducts training classes on various topics such as CPR, Fire Fighting & Response, First-Aid, and general security procedures to ensure the security and protection of assets, patrons/guests, and team members. Reports training progress to the Training Coordinator/Supervisor Provides remedial training to officers as needed Assists the department ensuring that proper arrest procedures and detainment techniques are carried out involving violations of civil or company laws or procedures; assists various local, state, and federal authorities in various activities and investigations to ensure that procedures and laws are observed. Provides support to the department in the event of troublesome terminations, thefts, investigations, and procedures as requested. Ensures all proper procedures for Games Department are correctly implemented and maintained (i.e., fills, credits, transfers, pit boxes, drops, etc.) Writes security incidents reports in the iTrak system as necessary. Perform physical escorts, arrests of non-compliant guests. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age or older. Previous security experience preferred. Previous experience in a casino resort preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Basic knowledge of California and Tribal civil and criminal laws. Knowledge and understanding of electronic, video and alarm functions. Knowledge and understanding of California and Tribal laws concerning powers of arrest. Must be able to pass a fit for duty physical with an occupational health professional. Must be capable of carrying out the physical responsibilities associated with a Security Officer role. Must be able to pass a drug test that includes testing for THC.
