Shift Manager - Security Sky River Casino - 3.0 Elk Grove, CA Job Details 12 hours ago Qualifications Team leadership Company vehicle operation Driver's License Productivity software Full Job Description The Security Shift Manager is responsible for the efficient operation of the security department in accordance with the property's established policies, procedures, and controls to ensure guest, team member safety and protect Company assets. Assists with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the security operations and the coordination of its programs with other departments. Ensures that all security reports are submitted in a timely manner. Assigns security staff to various locations according to job requirements and the officer's abilities, skills, and experience. Observes performance of duties to evaluate efficiency and to detect and correct inefficient work practices. Enforces company rules and policies. Works closely with local law agencies concerning laws and detention for Team Members. Conducts investigations concerning such matters as Guest and Team Member misconduct and unusual events. Acts as a representative of the property, interacting with guests and team members in a courteous and professional manner. Implements departmental procedures and trains, schedules, supervises and evaluates security officers on their assigned shift. Patrols property identifying potential security and safety issues. Assists in ensuring the safety and protection of guests, team members and the entire facility. Updates security procedural manuals and is responsible for the documentation of all security and safety issues and the maintenance of reports. Instills an atmosphere that encourages employees to thrive and succeed. Ensures effective recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching and counseling and other personnel related matters are being handled appropriately throughout assigned departments. Facilitates and ensures that performance reviews of all employees within the department are complete on an annual basis. Prepares detailed reports concerning matters investigated. Perform physical escorts and arrests of non-compliant guests. Performs other duties as assigned.
