Security Job Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned premises to deter and detect unauthorized activities. Perform routine checks of doors, windows, and alarm systems, ensuring they are secure. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, documenting all actions taken. Enforce company policies and local regulations while maintaining a professional, courteous demeanor. Control access points, verify identification, and issue visitor badges as required. Prepare accurate daily, incident, and activity reports for management review. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when situations escalate. Maintain a visible presence to promote safety and reassure clients, employees, and visitors. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid California driver's license (if required for mobile patrols). Ability to obtain and maintain any required state security guard certification. Excellent observational skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities. Physical fitness to stand, walk, and perform basic manual tasks for extended periods. Clear background check and drug screening results. Desired Experience At least 1 year of experience in an unarmed security or related safety role. Familiarity with basic security equipment such as CCTV, radios, and alarm systems. Experience handling incident reports and interacting with law enforcement agencies.
