The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers, employees, and visitors. This role involves monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents as they arise. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Duties Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises. Verify ID's and be able to manage vendor check in processes upon allowing anyone on to enter show room floor. Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify any suspicious activity or potential security breaches. Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, providing assistance as needed. Document incidents, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records of daily activities. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns or incidents. Implement conflict management strategies to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Skills Possession of a valid BSIS Security Guard Card is required. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies to minimize theft or damage. Strong understanding of conflict management principles and practices. Background in law enforcement or military service is advantageous but not required. Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions in emergency situations. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats or hazards. Strong communication skills for interacting with diverse groups of people effectively.
