Position:
Full-Time Security Officer GPI Security Services is seeking a professional and highly dependable Mobile Patrol Security Officer for the swing shift at a Healthcare Realty property portfolio located throughout Laguna Hills and Laguna Woods. The officer will operate an assigned security patrol vehicle and provide roving security coverage to multiple nearby medical-office properties. This position requires an officer who is comfortable working independently, moving continuously between properties, conducting both vehicle and foot patrols, and completing scheduled security responsibilities throughout the evening. Duties include conducting parking enforcement using assigned equipment; patrolling parking structures, lots, stairwells, building exteriors, and common areas; checking for unauthorized persons, loitering, vandalism, property damage, suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unsecured areas; securing designated stairwells and access points; verifying building entrances are secured during evening closing procedures; completing required walkthroughs of designated areas; responding to calls for service and incidents; and completing accurate daily activity, incident, and pass-down documentation. The officer must be capable of properly prioritizing emergencies and calls for service while maintaining patrol coverage throughout the property portfolio. Significant incidents, vandalism, and property damage require immediate notification and appropriate documentation in accordance with GPI and client procedures.
