DOE (Based on Experience) Position Summary Code 4 Private Security is seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Armed Security Officer to provide security services at a hotel property in Inglewood, California. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and welcoming environment for hotel guests, employees, and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service and enforcing property policies.
Schedule Shift:
Morning Days:
Sunday & Monday Additional shifts may become available based on performance and business needs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Patrol the hotel property, parking areas, and common spaces. Monitor entrances, exits, and guest activity. Provide a visible security presence to deter criminal activity. Respond promptly to disturbances, alarms, emergencies, and guest concerns. Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports. Control access to restricted areas. Coordinate with hotel management and local law enforcement when necessary. Enforce hotel policies while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service. Observe and report suspicious activity and safety hazards. Minimum Qualifications Valid California BSIS Guard Card (Required) Valid California BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit (Required) Valid California Driver's License or State ID High school diploma or GED At least 1 year of armed security experience preferred Hotel, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Preferred Skills Excellent conflict resolution and de-escalation skills Professional appearance and demeanor Strong observational skills Experience writing detailed incident reports Team-oriented with the ability to work independently Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods Climb stairs as needed Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Benefits Competitive hourly pay Opportunities for additional shifts and advancement Ongoing training and professional development Supportive management team
