POSITION SUMMARY DEFINITION
Under direction, to supervise security department; plan, organize and direct PHH, Inc.'s security program; supervise parking facilities, assist in planning, developing and supervising activities related to safety, fire protection, accident prevention and investigation and disaster preparedness.
CLASS CHARACTERISTICS
This is the entry/journey level class. Incumbents typically have appropriate specialized training with job related experience. Employees within this class are distinguished from Security Manager by the performance of the work assigned to the journey level, but without the independence or full responsibility expected of position at the journey level.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
A typical way would be:
Education:
Post high school vocation with specialized training. Possession of Associate Degree or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
Experience:
Two (2) years of experience in law enforcement or security contract agency desired.
License or Certificate:
Possession of a valid California driver's license. Employees must maintain a driving record, which meets the insurability requirements of the
KPC. KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
Knowledge of:
Security systems, procedures and enforcement codes. Principles and practices of personnel administration, organization, and management. Modern office methods and procedures Ability to:
Duty Office:
Make sure it stays clean Make Sure it's organized (papers and supplies and notebooks) Make sure it stays stock with proper forms and supplies as needed.
Training:
Makes sure all officers are getting training that is assigned, make sure they do it and sign the record sheet
Vehicle:
Expect daily and report any thing that needs serviced to me or you Make sure officers are not leaving any food or drinks in vehicle
Menifee:
David Pay roll run every Thursday before payday Friday Report any Rumors or any issues they may hear directly to me or you
Briefing:
Make sure all shifts are filling out briefing forms correctly and that all officers are participating in this. Field training officer for that shift.
