Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and observe activity across the location to help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior. Document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures and report issues to appropriate personnel for follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
