Physical Security Officer Regency Security Group Job Overview Regency Security Group is seeking professional, alert, and customer service oriented Physical Security Officers to join our growing team. In this role, officers will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, tenants, staff, visitors, contractors, and property assets through proactive patrol, access control, incident response, and strong onsite presence. Our officers serve as the frontline representation of Regency Security Group and are expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, communication, and situational awareness. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in active environments and take pride in providing high quality security services while building positive relationships onsite. Responsibilities Monitor assigned properties through active foot patrols, vehicle patrols, CCTV monitoring, and routine security inspections Control and monitor access points by verifying visitors, vendors, contractors, and authorized personnel Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, trespassing, vandalism, theft, or unauthorized entry Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, alarms, emergencies, and onsite service requests Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity reports, and patrol logs using the Guard Owl reporting platform Assist with enforcement of property rules, parking regulations, and overall site safety procedures Provide strong customer service while maintaining a professional and visible security presence onsite De escalate conflicts calmly and professionally while following company safety protocols and procedures Coordinate with onsite management, emergency responders, law enforcement, and operational teams when necessary Identify and report maintenance concerns, lighting outages, gate malfunctions, or other property related issues Qualifications Valid California Guard Card required Previous experience in security, patrol, military, law enforcement, customer service, or related fields preferred Strong communication, observational, and report writing skills Ability to remain calm, professional, and responsive during emergencies or high pressure situations Comfortable standing, walking, and conducting extended patrols throughout assigned shifts CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control procedures, and incident documentation is a plus Flexible availability including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed Why Join Regency Security Group At Regency Security Group, we believe security goes beyond presence alone.
