Special Event Security Guards

Job Summary We are seeking security guards to join our team. Candidates should be able to drive to venues, be self-sufficient and self-disciplined, and work alone or in a group. Private events are sporadic, so flexibility is absolutely necessary. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Conduct regular inspections of premises and personnel. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety. Collaborate with law enforcement when required during incidents or emergencies. Document all incidents, observations, and activities in a clear and concise manner. Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potential disturbances. Experience Previous experience in event security is preferred. $21.00 - $25.00 per hour Application Question(s): A BSIS issued guard card is required to work as a security guard. Do you have a current guard card? Security guards must drive to venues. We work in San Luis Obispo, Santa Margarita, Atascadero, Paso Robles and San Miguel. Are you able and willing to drive to jobsites in these Cities? Shifts are typically 4 hours to 8 hours long. Are you willing to sign up for, drive to, and work shifts, starting at 4 hours in length? Private event security requires extreme flexibility. Some weekends there may be 10 weddings, others they may be 1. We cannot guarantee a minimum number of hours per week. Is your schedule flexible and are you willing to work a varying number of hours per week, sometimes not working at all? A lot of special events take place on Friday & Saturday nights. To work for Vino Vice, you need to be available to work Friday nights, Saturday nights, and potentially Sundays. Do you have any commitments that would prohibit you from working on weekends?
