Lead Security Technician Position Description:
Installation of projects, including but not limited to access control, intrusion and perimeter detection systems, IP video surveillance, mass notification, and structured cabling. Critical Skills and Responsibilities:
Analyze blueprints and other documentation needed to execute the project on time and under budget. Able to adapt to changes in the scope of work, work hours, project size, and travel. Ability to manage different personalities as it applies to the job. Wire access control enclosers. Trim doors with reader, lock, rex, and DPS. Aim, focus, and set up cameras. Routing and termination of cables.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Technical domain knowledge sufficient to perform responsibilities 2 years of experience in the field or equivalent Milestone or Genetec trained or certified is a plus Familiar with Axis or Hanwha cameras Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects Strategic thinker, superior communicator, and confident decision-maker Willingness to travel when needed
Performance Measurements:
Adherence to Timesheet and expense report policies Minimum customer satisfaction rating to be determined Installation quality
