Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity across the premises continuously. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security breaches by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Enforce loss prevention measures by identifying suspicious behavior and intervening appropriately. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping. Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations while following established protocols to assist injured individuals. Skills Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation for effective monitoring. Ability to manage conflicts calmly and professionally using conflict management skills. Experience in law enforcement or military service is highly advantageous for understanding security procedures. Certified in first aid and CPR to respond effectively during medical emergencies. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices. Excellent observation skills combined with the ability to remain alert during long shifts.
