San Jose, CA, 95110 Part Time Graveyard (Sunday and Monday) Job Description We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Officer to join our team in the vibrant Entertainment District of San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patrons, employees, and property within the district. Responsibilities Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure safety and security. Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular inspections of premises. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing assistance as needed. Enforce rules, regulations, and policies to maintain order within the entertainment district. Report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or security breaches to management and law enforcement when necessary. Assist in crowd control during events and peak hours. Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their concerns professionally. Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents. Qualifications Proven experience as a Security Officer or similar role. Strong observational and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with security protocols and procedures. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Valid security officer license or certification as required by California state law. Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and respond to incidents.
