AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of government facilities, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards. Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures, including verifying authorization and directing guests to appropriate locations. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess a valid armed guard card or license. Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Experience using handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or a baton is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
