Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. seeks a Physical Security Systems Lead to design, implement, and manage electronic security systems across a diverse commercial real estate portfolio. You will oversee access control, video surveillance, and intrusion platforms, lead risk assessments, and coordinate with property, facilities, and IT teams to ensure reliability, compliance, and incident readiness. This role offers exposure to high-profile clients, global best practices, and opportunities to innovate in sustainable, technology-enabled built environments within a collaborative, performance-driven culture. Responsibilities Lead design, implementation, and optimization of physical security systems across a commercial real estate portfolio Oversee access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related technologies for properties and facilities Coordinate with property management, engineering, and vendors to ensure security standards and SLAs are met Conduct risk assessments, site audits, and gap analyses to strengthen security posture and compliance Develop, document, and maintain security system standards, procedures, and best practices Manage system upgrades, integrations, and lifecycle planning in coordination with IT and project teams Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive root-cause analysis and resolution Support incident response with accurate system data, footage retrieval, and reporting to stakeholders Train on-site and regional teams on use of security systems and ensure adherence to policies Contribute to security budgets, proposals, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with client needs Required Skills Physical security system design Electronic access control systems Video management systems (VMS) Intrusion detection systems Networked security infrastructure Security risk assessments and audits Vendor and contractor management Systems integration and commissioning Incident response and investigations support Security standards, policies, and documentation
