• As Needed Employment Type Part Time About the Employer Coachella Valley Unified School District covers more than 1,200 square miles of mostly rural desert terrain, serving the communities of Coachella, Thermal, Mecca, Oasis, Indio, and the Salton Sea.

The district currently operates fourteen elementary schools, three middle schools, three comprehensive high schools, one continuation high school, and one adult school. DOJ & FBI

Fingerprint Clearance

• TB clearance (Required upon hire)
• Current Security Guard Card
• SB1626 Certificate
• SB390 Certificate Substitute classified is an on-call as needed position. The district needs substitutes in the following areas:
• Campus Security Assistants
• No blank or incomplete applications will be accepted.

Applications will be reviewed on an as-needed basis. Selected candidates will be contacted to move forward to get fingerprinted for DOJ and FBI. Once candidates clear TB and fingerprints they will be invited to attend a substitute orientation. Please note that if your work/volunteer experience does not match any of the positions available to substitute, your application will not be considered. Certificate Copy (SB 390 Certificate) Certification (SB 1626 Certificate) Letter(s) of Recommendation (2 Professional recommendation letters dated within the past 12 months.) Other (Guard Card) Resume (Please ensure your resume lists any work experience related to the positions you are interested in subbing for.)
