Vallejo, CA Job Details Part-time $20 - $22 an hour 23 hours ago Benefits 401(k) Qualifications Crime prevention Writing skills High school diploma or GED Driver's License Guard Card Security Perimeter security enforcement Full Job Description We are looking for a competent Security Officer to work at wedding venues in Castro Valley, San Francisco, Vallejo and Novato. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation. Responsibilities Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions Provide assistance to people in need Skills Proven experience as security officer or guard Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety Familiarity with report writing Excellent surveillance and observation skills Valid BSIS Guard Card High School diploma or equivalent Shift available: The venues hosts multiple weddings per week. Weddings range from 4 to 8 +hours each. Officers are also eligible to pick up shifts at other sites nearby when available.
