On-Call Armed Security Officer

Overview P&P Security is seeking professional, reliable On-Call Armed Security Officers for a stationary (fixed) post assignment. Officers will remain at an assigned location and provide a visible armed security presence while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and situational awareness. This position is ideal for experienced armed guards who are dependable, punctual, and able to remain alert during extended stationary shifts. On-Call Shift Hours Applicants must be available for the following on-call coverage hours : Monday

• Thursday:

  10:00 AM
• 8:00 PM Friday

• Sunday:

  8:00 AM
• 8:00 PM Shifts are assigned based on operational needs and availability.

Responsibilities Maintain a professional armed security presence at a fixed post Monitor assigned area and control access as required Observe and report suspicious activity Respond to incidents and safety concerns in accordance with post orders Communicate with management, clients, and law enforcement as needed Complete accurate incident reports Follow all company policies and California security regulations Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities. Document incidents accurately in reports for future reference. Collaborate with law enforcement when required Manage conflict situations effectively using conflict management techniques. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; certification in security or law enforcement is preferred. Valid California Guard Card (BSIS) Valid California Firearm Permit (BSIS) Reliable transportation Strong communication and observation skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work long, stationary shifts Proven experience in security roles or related fields is an asset. Strong knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
