Fridays & Saturdays:
7PM to 2AM We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer, with a valid Guard Card, to uphold safety and security standards. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, controlling access points, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. Your proactive approach and keen observation skills will be essential in preventing incidents and responding swiftly to emergencies. Tactical and/or ballistic vest preferred Duties Conduct regular patrols of the premises through physical inspections to identify potential security risks, and provide nightly activity reports Manage entry, scan ID's, check bags, wear body cameras, and ensure compliance with security protocols Tactical response training, rapid crowd movement, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed Utilize management techniques such as conflict de-escalation to resolve disputes safely and professionally Maintain physical security measures through proper use of security equipment Tasers, pepper spray, baton certifications a plus Qualifications Proven experience in security roles or related fields demonstrating strong surveillance and physical security skills. Knowledge of incident report writing, and emergency response procedures Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, staff, and diverse individuals Familiarity with fire safety protocols, conflict de-escalation techniques, and compliance with security regulations Physically fit to perform patrols, respond quickly during emergencies, and carry out necessary security duties effectively Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser handling is highly desirable L.E.O / retired L.E.O. / military / Peace Officer a plus Join our team as a Security Officer where your vigilance ensures safety every day!
