Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking energetic and vigilant Event Security personnel to ensure the safety and smooth operation of a beloved annual family event. As an integral part of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, managing access control, and responding swiftly to incidents. Your proactive approach and commitment to safety will help create a positive experience for all attendees, staff, and vendors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your security expertise in dynamic event settings while contributing to a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Duties Monitor event premises through physical patrols to detect suspicious activity or security breaches Control access points using weapons detection systems, bag searches and communications. Reunite parents and children when seperated Respond promptly to emergencies by executing emergency response procedures, including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols Write detailed incident reports documenting any security concerns, disturbances, or accidents during the event Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when setting up or dismantling security equipment or barriers Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining a safe environment Skills Proven experience in physical security management Up to date CA guard card required Certified in first aid, CPR, AED operation helpful but not required Skilled in incident report writing with attention to detail and accuracy Strong conflict management and de-escalation abilities Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor during high-pressure situations Familiarity with emergency response procedures and compliance with security regulations Join our team to help deliver secure, well-managed events that leave lasting positive impressions.
