Job Description
Hospitality & Event Security | Aspen, CO | Winter 2026-27 We're building a new hospitality-focused security team in Aspen for the upcoming winter season and looking for dependable, professional people to join our founding roster. This is unarmed security primarily supporting high-end hospitality venues, events, nightlife, luxury retail and private activations throughout Aspen.
Responsibilities may include:
Door and access control Guest and crowd management Line management Event security Retail security Monitoring restricted areas De-escalating guest situations Supporting venue management during busy events We are especially interested in candidates with backgrounds in: Current or former law enforcement Military Event or venue security Nightlife / door security Hotel or hospitality security Retail security Fire, EMS or other public-safety roles Prior security experience is strongly preferred for lead positions but is not required for every role. We are also looking for mature, physically capable, personable people with good judgment who can be trained. This is hospitality-first security. We want people who are calm, professional and confident, not aggressive. You should be comfortable interacting with high-profile guests and handling difficult situations without unnecessarily escalating them.Requirements:
21+ Reliable and punctual Professional appearance and communication Able to stand for extended periods Comfortable working late nights, weekends and holidays Able to pass a background check Reliable transportation to Aspen Strong judgment and ability to remain calm under pressureSeason:
Approximately December 2026 through April 2027, with the potential for year-round and summer work.Schedule:
Flexible and event-based. Opportunities range from occasional weekend shifts to consistent weekly work. Major holidays and special events can require larger teams and longer shifts. Competitive hourly compensation based on experience, with higher rates available for experienced leads, supervisors and major-event assignments.
