Friday to Sunday | 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Position Summary Citadel Security USA is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a daytime role at a hospitality-focused property in Avon. This position combines general security duties with regular interaction with guests, so a professional and approachable presence is important. The shift involves moving through different areas of the property, keeping an eye on activity, and stepping in when needed. Some days are quiet, others less so staying aware and flexible is part of the job. Key Responsibilities Walk and check assigned areas, including lobbies, hallways, parking areas, and restricted spaces Keep an eye on camera systems and alarms for any unusual activity Respond to incidents such as disturbances, alarms, or medical situations Address issues in line with site rules and established procedures Assist guests with directions or general questions when approached Stay visible throughout the property to help discourage unwanted behavior Handle concerns or conflicts calmly and with professionalism Monitor entry points and confirm access for staff, vendors, and visitors Track and manage keys or access credentials when required Write clear incident reports and maintain daily activity logs Report hazards or safety concerns to the appropriate contact Minimum Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach Ability to stay calm and professional in a range of situations Preferred Qualifications Background in hospitality, hotel security, or similar roles Familiarity with CCTV and access control systems Experience handling conflict resolution in a professional setting Work Environment Hospitality or resort-style setting with frequent guest interaction Mix of indoor duties and outdoor patrols Requires standing and walking for extended periods Equal Opportunity Employer Citadel Security USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
