A Security Officer provides security for property at hospitals, hotels, warehouses or office buildings. Monitors entrances and patrols buildings, watches for intruders or vandals; reports building maintenance problems; deals with customers or visitors that create a disturbance in the building.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure a safe and positive shopping experience for all guests. Protect the property both on foot and by vehicle, always being visible and observant. Maintain the security cellular phone and professionally respond to all calls for service within the center. Remain calm and handle any issues confidently and professionally while applying your conflict resolution skills. Assist the security manager in implementing the center's safety work plan, work activities, surveillance, projects, and programs. Document activity using appropriate corporate and center security forms. Always ensure the work product is concise, accurate, and thorough. Perform all duties according to OSHA-established health and safety standards.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SECURITY OFFICER 1
year or more of security experience. First-aid and CPR certification preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Exceptional observational skills.
