Swing shift (event-based hours) Position Summary Citadel Security USA is bringing on Event Security Officers to work a range of events across the Denver area. Some will be smaller, more controlled settings, while others will be larger and fast-moving, so being flexible and aware of your surroundings matters here. This is not a stationary post. You will spend most of your time on your feet, moving through the venue, keeping an eye on what is going on, and stepping in when needed. Key Responsibilities Stay visible and present throughout assigned areas Walk the venue to keep an eye on crowd flow and general conditions Help at entry points when needed (bag checks, basic screening) Handle minor issues or rule violations calmly and professionally Pay attention to developing situations and respond as needed Keep in touch with supervisors and event staff during the shift Assist guests with directions or basic questions Jot down brief notes on incidents or anything out of the ordinary Minimum Qualifications Comfortable dealing with the public in a professional way Able to stay composed in busy or high-traffic environments Willing to follow direction and site-specific instructions Reliable transportation to different event locations Must meet Colorado requirements for unarmed security roles Preferred Experience Event security or similar work Crowd control, entry screening, or access point experience Current Colorado Guard Card (or ability to get one) Additional Information Event schedules vary, and hours can change week to week.
