Sunday to Thursday | Days and hours vary based on staffing needs | Friday and Saturday generally off Position Summary Citadel Security USA is looking for a part-time Armed Security Officer to provide fill-in coverage at a critical infrastructure location in Dillon. This role supports ongoing operations by stepping in during absences, time off, or staffing gaps. Officers should be comfortable taking over an assigned post with little ramp-up time and maintaining consistency in how duties are carried out. The position blends access control responsibilities with patrol activity and requires a steady, reliable approach. Key Responsibilities Control entry points by checking credentials and approving site access Complete vehicle patrols to observe site conditions and activity levels Maintain a noticeable presence to support site security efforts Watch for irregular behavior, safety risks, or unauthorized access Respond to incidents, alarms, or service calls following site procedures Prepare clear daily logs and incident reports Share updates with supervisors, dispatch, or designated contacts Follow all post orders and company requirements while on duty Minimum Qualifications Must meet Colorado standards for armed security personnel Personal firearm required; must carry in accordance with state law and company policy Valid driver's license Ability to work an on-call or flexible schedule Strong attention to detail and communication skills Dependable and able to adjust to different shifts as needed Preferred Qualifications Active armed certifications or similar credentials Previous experience in armed security, patrol, or access control roles Exposure to high-security or infrastructure-type environments Work Environment Mix of stationary post work and mobile patrol duties Combination of indoor and outdoor conditions May require extended periods of standing, walking, or driving Schedule varies depending on operational coverage needs Equal Opportunity Employer Citadel Security USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
