Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and conflict management, ensuring that all security protocols are followed diligently. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in loss prevention and emergency response. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility. Conduct regular inspections of property and report any security breaches or safety hazards. Assist in conflict management by de-escalating situations effectively while maintaining professionalism. Provide first aid or CPR assistance when necessary until emergency services arrive. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations. Requirements Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention strategies is highly desirable. Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus; candidates should be willing to obtain certification if not already held. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats or irregularities. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Must possess a valid security guard license or certification as required by local regulations.
