Bilingual Security Guard | Part-Time Clinica Family Health - 3.0 Thornton, CO Job Details Part-time $21.00 - $26.60 an hour 21 hours ago Benefits Health savings account Health insurance Dental insurance Flexible spending account Vision insurance Qualifications Spanish English De-escalation techniques Emergency response in crisis intervention Full Job Description You will support and maintain a safe and secure work environment at the CFHW locations the security guard is assigned. This position will be a primary point of contact for patients/clients at the assigned locations as well as providing regular and routine monitoring of the facility and grounds areas and may assist with minor housekeeping. Support with patients, visitors, and staff at the clinic. Interact and greet patients, vendors and staff entering the clinic in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain patient confidentiality and culture sensitivity. Assist patients with mobility as needed. Assist with transportation arrangements for patients and visitors including making reservations as needed. Serve as a visitor and/or vendor check-in; assist with deliveries when appropriate. Intervene when needed in urgent or emergency situations. Protect Clinica property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment. Make interior and exterior rounds as directed by management, but at least once per hour. Ensure building security by checking locked entrances throughout the day and at closing. Monitor for signs of suspicious activity, report all incidents, and investigate concerns as directed by management. Enforce smoking and service animal policies in and around clinic buildings. Assist with safety drills. Participate as a member of the site safety team. Act as a primary or backup for security panel resetting. Act as a contact for property management when needed. Help monitor patient/client phone usage or conversations becoming escalated or disruptive. Help maintain a clean environment in the lobby and public areas of the clinic including restrooms and grounds. Assist with directing emergency personnel within the building during Rapid Response situations or other emergency situations as needed. Support the Biohazard Vendor and follow regulations when onsite.
What We Need:
Education and Experience:
Bilingual in spoken English and Spanish required. High school diploma or equivalent experience required. At least one (1+) year of experience performing security duties in a healthcare setting. Experience with security and de-escalation practices to deter and react to any security incidents. Colorado certification. Important to

Evening or weekend work may occasionally be required. May include working with people in acute distress or crisis.

Compensation:
Approximately $21.00 - $26.60 per hour. All individual pay rates are calculated based on the candidate's experience and internal equity.
