Security Guard

You will be responsible for monitoring premises, managing access points, and responding swiftly to incidents. Responsibilities Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV to detect suspicious activity and prevent security breaches Control access to the premises by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary Enforce safety protocols and conduct conflict management to de-escalate tense situations effectively Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for accountability and reporting purposes Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and taking appropriate action Qualifications Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Certifications in First Aid and CPR are preferred; training will be provided if needed Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems is advantageous Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Familiarity with security procedures, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response protocols Ability to stand or walk for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and emergency responders effectively Join us in creating a safe environment where everyone can thrive! Pay:

$22.35 - $26.92 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 per week
