The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, excellent conflict management abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment. This role involves a 40 hour shift within 4 days and 3 days off. We are looking for a candidate with excellent customer service and the ability to go the extra mile for our residents. Responsibilities Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and surveillance systems to identify suspicious activities or security breaches. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety protocols are followed. Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms. Enforce loss prevention strategies by observing and intervening in potential theft or vandalism activities. Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of security-related events. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and assist in investigations. Provide first aid or CPR if required during emergencies, demonstrating readiness to handle medical situations. Manage conflict situations professionally, de-escalating disputes and ensuring safety for all parties involved. Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials of visitors and employees as needed. Requirements Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred. Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable. Strong knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV), conflict management, and loss prevention techniques. Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively. Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining vigilance throughout shifts. Must be physically capable of patrolling large areas and standing for extended periods. Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations is preferred but not mandatory.
